The Primary

Do you ever wonder whether a country could be completely at peace knowing the end of their existence lay in the following 24 hours? What about an invasion of extraterrestrials; could they be foiled and then completely destroyed simply by the welcoming goodwill of earth-people? Can tattoos both come alive in moving drawings upon the skin, as well as predict the future?

I just finished reading Ray Bradbury's The Illustrated Man. It was a wonderful book, and I don't use the word wonderful lightly. It was a perfect balance of both gripping, triumphing evil; and determined, ever-patient good. Bradbury is a master creator of short but compelling stories. They cause one to think, and not always because they're confusing. They make you question things, and wonder. They make you look at life through a different view.

That's what I love about Ray Bradbury. He rearranges the orders of life thinking. I definitely recommend any of his works.
